What I Wish I'd Known

When I published my first book, I had more questions than answers.

Like many independent authors, I spent countless hours searching for information, piecing together advice from different sources, and learning through trial and error. Some lessons came easily. Others came the hard way.

This collection was created from the notes, mistakes, successes, and practical lessons I gathered along the way. After author events, social media posts, and conversations with fellow writers, I found myself answering the same questions again and again. Eventually, it made sense to put everything in one place.

I don't claim to have all the answers, and I certainly don't know everything about publishing. What I do know is what worked for me, what didn't, and what I wish someone had told me when I was starting out.

If these books save you time, help you avoid a few mistakes, or give you the confidence to take the next step in your writing journey, then they've done exactly what they were intended to do.
